Trithrinax campestris - Blue Needle Palm

Trithrinax campestris Blue Needle Palm Argentina hardy

Origin: Argentina

This is a great palm with a marvellous trunk of lattice work ending in big long spines like needles. Not to mention the spines at the end of the leaf tips.

Having seen it in northern Argentina it is hard to imagine how cold hardy it is. It grows in extremely hot, arid conditions in its native habitat but has proven itself in the colder climate of Ireland and Britain.

Unfortunately we cannot presently offer this plant for sale.
